LUMAGICA Frohnleiten – A sparkling world of adventure!
LUMAGICA Frohnleiten returns again this year with a new concept – this time under the motto “Colors of Life.” The popular light park takes visitors on a luminous journey through fascinating worlds of color, where each color represents special values. The highlight is a spectacular rainbow world where all colors come together.
As usual, guests can expect a fascinating interplay of light art, sound, and interactivity. Countless light figures, imaginative photo points, interactive stations, and impressive sound-to-light shows bring each color to life in a unique way. The result is an immersive experience that awakens emotions and invites wonder.
From November 14, 2025, to January 6, 2026, LUMAGICA Frohnleiten – Colors of Life invites explorers of all ages to an unforgettable evening adventure – colorful, magical, and full of emotion.

Spectacular sound

In the impressive shows, elements such as water, lasers, light and sound effects are brought into perfect harmony, creating wonderful atmospheric images that take you on a journey into the depths of the oceans or to distant lands.

light sculptures
The true centerpiece of this light magic are the radiant light sculptures that bring the park to life. Majestic figures made of light, artistically shaped and shimmering with life, invite guests into a fantasy world. Over 300 light objects adorn the path and at dusk they begin to spark a wondrous play of lights that enchants every visitor.

Become master of the light! At many stations, you can interact with the light yourself and intervene in the action.

To make your visit to the park as pleasant as possible and due to the limited parking capacity, please select a time slot in the order process and book your ticket online.
IMPORTANT: You can stay in the park as long as you like (until closing time). The time slots only refer to the entrance time!
ATTENTION: Tickets at the box office are only available as long as they are also available online. There is an additional charge of €2.50 at the box office!

The magical park of lights takes place again this year at GC Murhof near Frohnleiten.
Travelling by car
Car parking is available on site.
Exit: Badl-Peggau and follow the signs to Lumagica or Golfclub Murhof.

Public Transport / SHUTTLE
Free shuttle from Frohnleiten train station
Every Friday and Saturday from 16.10, a shuttle bus will take you from Frohnleiten train station to the venue and back again.
Frohnleiten station and back again. This shuttle is free of charge.
Shuttle from Graz train station
The shuttle ticket costs € 8.00 and must be purchased in the online store!
The shuttle bus takes you comfortably from Graz main station directly to the Murhof and Lumagica Frohnleiten.
It is only possible to take the shuttle bus directly from Graz on Saturdays
(November 16. 23. 30. 2024 / December 07. 14. 21. 28. 2024 and January 04. 2024)
Tour 1: Departure 16:00, return journey 19:00
Tour 2: Departure 17:30, return 20:30
ATTENTION: The shuttle bus is not barrier-free, it is a coach and not a low-floor vehicle!

Opening hours and admission

LUMAGICA Frohnleiten will be closed on December 24, 2025.
Admission is always possible at the beginning of the booked time slot (+30 minutes tolerance).

Are reservations possible?
No, reservations are not possible
Is it possible to cancel or rebook a ticket?
Rebookings are only possible with a booked rebooking option.
If you selected this option when purchasing your ticket, you can change your visit date up to 24 hours before the start of the event. Unfortunately, later rebookings are not possible.
In this case, please send us your new desired date to lumagica@ivents.at.
Please note: Rebookings are only possible within the same price category and subject to availability.
Do children need tickets?
Children aged 0-6 do not require a ticket and are admitted free of charge.
Admission for children under 6 is free of charge and possible without a ticket.
Children aged 6-14 are entitled to the reduced children’s rate.
Are there group discounts
For groups of 20 people or more, there is a group discount of 10% on the ticket.

Are discounted tickets available?
Discounts apply to senior citizens aged 65 and over, school pupils, students up to the age of 26 and people with a valid disability pass with a degree of disability of at least 50%, Civil servant
One accompanying person is free of charge if an accompanying person is listed on the back of their disability pass).
Take advantage of the evening ticket and book a timeslot from 7.30 pm (discount of up to € 2 per ticket).
Day tickets / time slots
Our tickets can be purchased for a specific day and time.
Please come to the day and time slot you have chosen. (+30 min tolerance for delays)
This allows us to equalise the number of visitors and avoid waiting times.

Car parking
Free parking is available on site. However, capacity is limited.
In the event of overcrowding, only persons who have purchased a ticket in advance and are able to present it to the responsible staff at the entrance will be admitted.
The disabled parking spaces are located in parking lot 1. Please contact the parking lot staff. They will instruct you.
Parking and arrival by Coach
If you are planning to arrive by coach, please register in advance at lumagica@ivents.at
We would like to point out that the access road to the Murhof has a maximum clearance height of 3.90 m.

Gastronomy
There is a food and beverage area in front of the entrance to the park as well as in the park where you can get drinks and snacks.

Overnight stay
Combine your visit to the Lichtpark with an overnight stay at the Murhof. The Murhof offers great opportunities for a short and relaxing break.
In the newly renovated Wellness & Vitality Oasis (incl. dry sauna, steam bath, infrared, indoor pool, relaxation room) you can relax and unwind.
For the culinary part you will be spoilt with a dinner in the restaurant and the next day a rich breakfast awaits you.

How long is the circular route?
The circular route (not guided) is a one-way system and is approx. 1.5 km long. Depending on the time spent and breaks, it takes around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. You can of course take breaks at any time to admire the fascinating light installations and take lots of photos.
There are signposted toilets along the way and catering facilities at weekends.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs may be taken on a lead. Dogs do not require a ticket.
Accessibility
The park is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

What happens if Lumagica is canceled on one day?
Cancellations will be communicated as early as possible. Tickets already purchased for the canceled events will automatically be converted into FLEX tickets and you can come to LUMAGICA on a day of your choice with the ticket of the canceled day.
If this is at the end of the event series and there is no possibility of re-entry, please contact lumagica@ivents.at for a refund of the purchase price.
Weather and clothing
LUMAGICA is an outdoor event and takes place in all weathers, including rain.
Tickets cannot be returned due to bad weather.
In any case, we recommend weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
Can I take photos?
You are cordially invited to photograph our light displays. We would be delighted if you could capture the special atmosphere of the park of lights and share your impressions with us on social media using #lumagica #lumagicafrohnleiten.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to film the area with a drone. There is no permission to fly.
Where are the toilets?
There is a toilet trailer at car park 1 and mobile toilets in the first catering area.
