The Nutcracker is more than a walk through a light park. It is a journey back to your childhood, into the world of dreams and the magic of Christmas.
Along a trail of around two kilometres, impressive light installations, imaginative figures and spectacular sound-to-light shows await you.

In these impressive shows, elements such as water, lasers, light and sound effects are brought into perfect harmony, creating wonderful atmospheric images that take you on a journey into the depths of the oceans or to faraway lands.
The true heart of this magic of lights are the radiant light sculptures that bring the park to life. Majestic figures made of light, artfully shaped and shimmering with life, invite guests into a world of fantasy. More than 300 light objects adorn the trail, and at dusk they begin to unfold a wondrous play of light that enchants every visitor.
Become the master of light! At many stations you can interact with the light yourself and take part in the action.

Booking a time slot is required – there is no limit to how long you stay in the park (until 10:00 pm at the latest). Reduced evening tickets are available from 7:30 pm.

Take the Badl-Peggau exit and follow the signs towards LUMAGICA or Golfclub Murhof. Parking is available on site.

Children: 6–14 years.
Reduced: people with a disability pass, pupils, students up to 26 years, apprentices and seniors aged 65 and over.
Free admission for: children under 6 and dogs.
Yes, booking a time slot is required. There is no limit to how long you stay in the park: after your booked admission time you can enjoy the park for as long as you like (until 10:00 pm at the latest).
The rebooking option can be added per ticket and allows a one-time change of date.
Rebooking is possible up to 24 hours before the booked visit date at the latest, to:
• available dates
• the same or a cheaper price category
Not possible for:
• sold-out dates
• more expensive dates

Complaints regarding online ticket purchases must be reported in writing to lumagica@ivents.at within 30 minutes of purchase.

On Fridays and Saturdays, a free shuttle bus runs from Frohnleiten station to the LUMAGICA light park and back.
Yes, parking is available directly at the Golfclub Murhof. Take the Badl-Peggau exit and follow the signs towards LUMAGICA or Golfclub Murhof.
Yes! At our Christmas huts in the courtyard of the Murhof and along the trail, fragrant punch, hot mulled wine and regional delicacies await you. If you would like to make yourself even more comfortable, stop by the Murhof restaurant. We recommend reserving a table at the Murhof Hotel & Restaurant.
Yes, dogs are allowed and enter free of charge.
LUMAGICA Frohnleiten is open daily from 13.11.2026 to 10.01.2027 (except 24.12.2026), from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Last admission: 8:30 pm.
