Last admission for Wildpark visitors is at 15:30, and the park must be left by 16:30.

From 17:00 the box offices open for LUMAGICA admission.

The discounted online advance tickets have a time slot at admission.

LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge is open from 12 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, Thursday to Sunday from 17:00 to 22:00.

On 24, 25 and 31 December as well as 1 January the LUMAGICA light park is closed; the Wildpark is open as usual.

LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge is open on 28, 29 and 30 December 2026.

For families with younger children the earlier visit at 17:00 is particularly suitable. From around 19:00 anyone who prefers it quieter can enjoy the forest of lights, as most guests are already on their way home.

Thursday is family day. That is when the LUMAGICA tickets are especially good value.

Tickets for LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge can also be purchased at the box office. If you buy the tickets online in advance, they are cheaper.

There are reduced tickets for annual pass holders, children and people with a disability ID showing the B, G or H marking, upon presentation of a valid ID.

The Wildpark car park has 30 EV charging points where you can charge your electric vehicle "ad hoc". The charging stations run on EnBW’s eRoaming charging network.

At all box offices and food stands in the park you can pay by cash or debit card. For hygiene reasons we kindly ask for cashless payment.

Handcarts can be rented for just € 5 per day at the box office. The handcarts wait right behind the entrance area for their use. When it snows, sledges can be rented. A deposit (ID) is required for the rental period.

No. Exception: mobility aids with a fixed handlebar are permitted. All other means of transport are not allowed for safety reasons (e.g. steep gradients).

Our main paths are paved. We also have wheelchair-accessible toilets, a footpath ramp and a stairlift to the Wildpark restaurant. Please note that our Wildpark lies in the Schwarze Berge hills, so some paths have steep gradients. Please ask at our box office beforehand about a suitable route for you.

On presentation of a disability ID with a B, G or H marking at the box office you receive reduced admission. Your companion enters free of charge.

This year’s theme is "Colors of Life". Join us on a glowing journey through fascinating worlds of colour: from colour to colour, from feeling to feeling – until everything merges into a spectacular rainbow world. Over 300 3D light motifs and more than 31 dazzling scenes await you.

About 50 km of sparkling lights and over 300 3D light motifs await you along a roughly 2 km trail.

Yes, along the trail you can warm up with hot chocolate, mulled wine or fruit punch and enjoy one or two savoury dishes.

In addition, a special buffet is prepared in our Wildpark restaurant.

Dogs may be brought with us on a short leash as long as they are lead-trained. There are marked areas where dogs are not allowed. During LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge music-synchronised light shows take place. The music there will be louder and the light effects could also affect your dog’s well-being.

To preserve the magical effect of lights and music, the Wildpark train will not run during LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge.

In principle it can be booked during the day for exclusive tours. With a winter booking, however, short-notice cancellations may occur due to snow, ice and other environmental influences.

No guided tours can be booked during LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge. The latest start time for tours with the Nature Experience Centre is 15:00; by 16:30 the park must be left unless LUMAGICA admission has been paid.

LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge uses a total of 10,800 kWh over the 40 open days. This includes infrastructure and catering.

As LED lighting is used at LUMAGICA Schwarze Berge, power consumption is low. Here is a small calculation example: with 60,000 visitors this comes to 0.18 kWh per person. Compared to a Netflix evening including cooking a meal, which comes to 0.85 kWh, a LUMAGICA evening is therefore considerably more energy-efficient.
