LUMAGICA Magdeburg is currently closed.
The popular light festival in Elbauenpark has ended its season and will not reopen until next winter.
When Elbauenpark was transformed into a sparkling sea of lights in autumn, LUMAGICA was back in Magdeburg. This year, visitors were treated to a completely new theme: “Around the World in 80 Days.”
Inspired by Jules Verne’s legendary adventure novel, a luminous journey around the globe began in Elbauenpark. Following in the footsteps of Phileas Fogg and his faithful companion Passepartout, guests immersed themselves in distant cultures, exotic landscapes, and exciting adventures – told through impressive light sculptures, atmospheric illuminations, and surprising special effects.
Since the opening of LUMAGICA Magdeburg, thousands of visitors have already experienced the light exhibition in Elbauenpark. The season ended on January 6, after countless magical moments full of light and fantasy.
